Sandhurst Joggers is a friendly club that are affiliated to both ARC and EA.

The club welcomes and encourages new members of all abilities . Whether you are interested in running to get fit and keep fit, getting covered in mud and having a laugh or taking part in races up to and beyond marathons you are welcome to join us and will find like-minded companions for your training. Contact any Committee Member if you want to know more! The majority of the club training takes place in and around the Sandhurst, Yateley,Camberley, Blackwater and Frimley area.

In 2007 Sandhurst Joggers celebrated its 20th year (see our founding Forefathers picture at the bottom of the page) The club now has well in excess of 300 members, which means you'll always find some friendly soul who will be running at a pace that suits you.

Tuesday runs are primarily easy runs which are perfect for novices and those coming back from injury. If you are a complete beginner then please see the beginners page for information about our walking to running initiative. You can also come to the Monday night club run and stop by for a jar and a chat afterwards.

In the summer as well as arranging and marshalling the very popular Yateley 10k Grand Prix series the club and its members participate in many running related activities

Races - Sandhurst Joggers, both as members and in teams, enter many races in the UK from 5k races to Marathons. Additionally several members have ventured further afield to the Berlin, New York and Paris Marathons, races in the USA , South Africa and Australia . Your participation in all events as a Sandhurst Jogger will be welcomed by the club, but you don't have to race if you don't want to!

Cross Country - The club takes part in the Thames Valley section of the National Cross Country League during the winter. So if you fancy a real challenge and don't mind getting more than a bit muddy, join us for the cross-country. It is an excellent team event and the more club members involved, the better.

Relays - All through the summer the club participates in a number of relay events, and we feature teams comprising of all levels. In the Brickmakers relay we regularly enter a beginners team as well as one of the top finishing teams.

The London Marathon - We not only have many members that run in this race each year, we also provide marshals for this event. Coach transport for runners and spectators is arranged for this day.

Club Kit - Printed red vests or T-Shirts can be purchased from Tracey at the UpandRunning shop in Camberley

Discounts - As a member of a club affiliated to ARC, you won't have to pay the levy for any ARC affiliated race and can get 10% discount at most running stores such as UpandRunning and Sweatshop.
