Along with 12 other teams from the surrounding area, Sandhurst Jogger take part in the Thames Valley X-country league. The events start on the Sunday on or around the 11th of November.
The winners of the league at the end of the season go through to the National final, and the 2nd place team go to the National Plate Final held in April
Sandhurst Joggers have traditionally done well in the league coming 1st in 2009/2010 and 2nd behind Reading Road Runners for the preceeding 5 years.
In 2010 we took part in the National Final and took a well erant 5th place
All fees for the cross country events are paid for by the club, and if we reach the final a coach is subsidised.
After each Event a very generous spread of sandwiches, cakes and warm drinks are provided by the host club. Many of the Sandhurst Joggers then retire to a local Pub for a drink and Chat.
