Club Kit – Sally Kent is now taking orders for Heritage Kit, the white shirt with the red stripe and SJ logo. There is also the option to purchase hoodies, so if anyone would like to order a hoodie then please let Sally know. The zip through hoodie will be priced at £26 and the over the head hoodie will be £23. This includes all embroidery including your initials on the front. 2019 Track Challenge – Friday night saw the running of the 2019 Track Challenge. An internally run event, teams entered one athlete into each event, and the event culminated with two relays (4 x 100m and 4 x 400m).
The results for this years events were as follows…


‘Try-a-Tri’ – This event gave people a chance to experience what it’s like to do a triathlon, consisting of the three stages of a triathlon, with the run and the cycle being held in Yateley, and the swim in between being held at the Yateley School swimming pool. This was a great chance to see what a triathlon is all about, and by the looks of the photos below, people seemed to really enjoy it!


Frimley – 14 members headed to Frimley Lodge on Saturday morning for their parkrun fix. First member through the finishing funnel was Jon Payne, in a time of 21:41. Not far behind was Mo Willcox as first female member, in a time of 26:07, recording a PB in the process!
Another special mention goes to Sarah Davies for recording her first run at Frimley. Well done Sarah!

Bracknell – A mega 19 members headed to Bracknell this weekend, a great club turnout! Leading everyone around was Krzysztof Zielinski, who came through as first member in a time of 20:40. Helen Davey came through as first female member in a time of 26:52.
There were some great runs recorded at Bracknell, with 5 members recording PBs! A big congratulations to Martin Steadman, Nigel Bassett, Helen Davey, Lyn Winter and Andy Hazell. Well done guys!

Rushmoor – A dynamic duo of SJs headed to Queens Avenue this week, with Martin Gould and Liz Evans running times of 24:32 and 30:41, respectively.

California Country Park – A good turnout at the three Cs, with Graham Robinson coming through as first member, and second overall by an agonising 10 seconds, but still running a super time of 17:12. Meanwhile, Katy Kennedy came through as first female SJ in a time of 31:08.
There were 4 first timers at California on Saturday – Graham Robinson, Phil Turner, Simon Tigg and Katy Kennedy. There was also a PB run from Samantha Wood. Well done everyone who ran at California!

Tourism – There was some great tourism on display this weekend, let’s see who went where!
Alice Holt – Teresa Milroy and Colin Carpenter fancied the hills of Alice Holt, and ran super times of 27:34 and 30:27, respectively. This was enough to earn them some mega PBs, Teresa by 2 minutes 20 seconds, and Colin by 1 minute. Fantastic effort!
Andover – Stuart Mayes headed over to Andover for the first time, and ran a time of 21:44 in his 130th parkrun.
Basingstoke – John Paul Featherstone ran a time of 25:34 in his 15th run at Basingstoke.
Brockenhurst – Sue Hopkinson ran a time of 31:24 in her first run at Brockenhurst.
Guernsey – Patrick Wadsworth recorded a great time of 22:30 in his first run at Guernsey.
Homewood – Wayne Boardman recorded a PB by over a minute and a half with a time of 24:10.
Houghton Hall – Andy Summerskill was at Houghton on Saturday and ran a time of 28:27.
Lanhydrock – A duo of SJs headed over to Lanhydrock in Cornwall. Max Woods ran a time of 22:44 and Sacha Kendall-Woods ran a time of 27:54.
Luton Wardown – Yvette Glacken recorded a great time of 37:58 at Luton.
Monrepos – Alison Winders lief in ihrem ersten Lauf in Monrepos eine Zeit von 28:33.

Wetherby – Simon and Anne Whillis ran at Wetherby this weekend, one of the smaller parkruns around, recording times of 27:33 and 51:29, respectively.
Woking – Kate Parker carried on her local tourism voyage and recorded a time of 52:51 in her first time at Woking.
Some great tourism this week, well done to all those who adventured out far and wide!
Cider Frolic – Jonathan Taylor, Lance King and Lisa Hale headed down to Dorset to complete this lapped event. For solo runners, or teams of 2 or 3 or 4, this 6km lap takes in some of the scenery of the Cranbourne Chase AONB, a lovely area of countryside. It looked like a great event; well done to those who took part!

Down Tow Up Flow Half Marathon – Described as ‘flat as a pancake, but 90% along trails’, this half marathon alternates it’s course each year from running from Marlow to Windsor and vice versa. There was a good showing of SJs, with the results as follows:
