A Sandhurst Jogger race review – Leg 5
The river relay is a great event in a great setting. I have run it the last 2 years now and will definitely do it again next year. There was a great team spirit as we encouraged each other along with messages of support before, during and after our respective legs.

The weather was gorgeous, albeit a little hot as the sun decided to show for the first time this summer… I didn’t feel under any pressure to run hard or fast though.
I went to enjoy the run and it’s so pretty along the Thames, seeing all the fishermen and boaters equally enjoying themselves. I was a little worried about getting lost (as I often do), but there were volunteers in all the relevant spots on my leg.
To then finish 7th in a pretty decent sized field made it even more sweeter. Bring on next year…
